Eligibility for employment with the Village of Freeport requires residency in Freeport. Proof of residency must be provided in the form of postmarked mail, recent bill or current lease. We cannot accept a driver's license or any other document with a date of birth or photograph on it.

Many of our positions are in the Competitive Civil Service Class, which means that state law requires that applicants be qualified by written examination.
